CNC machining in Brass
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, and it’s one of the most widely used materials in the world. It’s strong and durable, making it perfect for everything from musical instruments to plumbing fixtures. And because it’s an excellent conductor of heat and electricity, it’s also used in a variety of electrical applications.
CNC Machining Brass Materials

Brass is a popular choice for CNC machining, thanks to its excellent machinability. This metal is easy to work with and can be produced to very tight tolerances. That makes it ideal for applications where precision is critical.Brass also has good resistance to wear and corrosion. That makes it an excellent choice for parts that will be subject to extreme conditions or long-term use. And, because it’s non-magnetic, brass is often used in electrical applications.
Some grades of brass can be difficult to source, but at Precision Machined Products, we have a wide range of brass alloys available for CNC machining. We can help you select the right alloy for your application and produce parts that meet your exact specifications.
